Lake County Civil War Days

Event: Civil War Days is at the Lake County Discovery Museum in Wauconda, Illinois

Distance: 21 miles

General Information:

This is one of the largest events in the area. For re-enactors they have a Saturday morning tactical. This is where the military gets to play soldier without a script. There is also a battle on Sunday for visitors.

Saturday there are also a number of workshops for the civilians. There are a large number in attendance which give us a chance to use our first person impressions. The ball for re-enactors is also a fun time.

This has always been a good event.
